Access Flooring (a.k.a. raised flooring) is an elevated flooring system that can range in height from as low as 2" to as high as 72". This system is comprised of 2'-0" square panels supported by various types of understructure systems. The panels vary in weight, strength and finish depending on the type of application. The understructure consists of pedestals, which elevate each corner of the panel. They, too, vary depending on the type of application. The major benefit of each product is their ability to enhance performance in the office and equipment room environments. The systems are non-combustible, solid, quiet, lightweight for handling ease, excellent grounding and electrical continuity, interchangeable with other panel strengths and have great rolling and ultimate load performances. The finishes available are bare (painted for protection), carpeted (factory laminated or carpet tile), high-pressure laminate and conductive vinyl tile.
